Why she buys

Maya can ask good questions, but a client often understands the consequence only after they commit. A kept world gives the conversation a surface: actors, constraints, alternate seats, and a record of what the client chose.

The causal loop

Interview the client → define the world and boundaries → run a bounded branch → debrief what the client caused → retry with a changed assumption. Maya facilitates; the engine does not become the coach.

Opening objection

“Clients will mistake a simulation for truth.” That is a product risk, not a copy problem. Assumptions, uncertainty, and non-clinical boundaries must remain visible.

What the model captures

Situation structure, information boundaries, candidate moves, and macro consequences. It does not diagnose, assess mental health, or prove behavioural transfer.

What would lose her

An opaque score, a generated verdict about a client, no exportable causal record, or a commitment made without explicit attribution.

Shipped / direction boundary

Blended Domains and bounded Scenario runs ship. A two-cycle crawl can ground evidence. Voice intake, automated search, latent-trait readings, and clinical integrations are direction or explicitly out.

Seeded situation

• Situation: a leadership team must decide who owns a failing launch.
• Actors: founder, product lead, engineering lead, client sponsor.
• Incentives: accountability, status, delivery, and relationship preservation.
• Private information: each person’s confidence and unseen work.
• Constraints: one meeting, a live customer, and no neutral arbiter.
• Open Fate question: does naming ownership restore agency or create a scapegoat?
• Candidate moves: assign; investigate; share ownership; pause the launch.
