Rafael Ortiz — Strategist

From the Meridians Wiki · Public · Maintained · joint

Public · live-evidence strategy games. Rafael holds one situation while doctrines and seats play its possible fates. A reduced crawl can ground the world in evidence; it is not the unit of value.

Why he buys

Rafael already has news. He pays to hold the moving parts together: who can act, what each side knows, what a commitment forecloses, and where a small move changes the fan of futures. A reduced live evidence crawl is useful grounding, not a claim that current events become certain.

The causal loop

Ground a world → fork doctrines → seats commit → fate moves are priced → Rafael compares what changed → he asks what the doctrine caused and runs another arm.

Opening objection

“The market is not a board game.” Correct. The simulation is a bounded instrument with declared rules, not a forecast or trading signal.

What the model captures

Actors, constraints, open Fate questions, branch commitments, and macro consequence. It can show where doctrines differ. It cannot yet read scene-level rhetoric or prove a transfer to market performance.

What would lose him

Unattributed moves, false precision, stale evidence, or a score that hides the assumptions under it.

Shipped / direction boundary

Domains, Scenario branches, and bounded Scenario Lab runs ship. Rafael’s three-cycle, twice-weekly crawl grounds live evidence. Automated MWS and transfer are unbuilt or unproven; micro/screen analysis remains direction.

Seeded situation

  • Situation: a shipping disruption threatens a portfolio’s exposure.
  • Actors: carrier, state regulator, rival supplier, Rafael’s book.
  • Incentives: preserve capacity, avoid panic, gain leverage, protect liquidity.
  • Private information: contract options, inventory runway, and counterpart tolerance.
  • Constraints: partial data, public signalling, one policy window.
  • Open Fate question: does early hedging buy resilience or create the price spike it fears?
  • Candidate moves: hedge now; wait for confirmation; pressure a supplier; reallocate exposure.
