What survives / promotes / recasts
From the Meridians Wiki · Public · Maintained · joint
- Promoted to the headline: one Scenario decision substrate with two entries—direct abstract play or immersive live Episode roleplay.
- Recast: World is a branch-derived semi-permanent artifact; replayability is an open configuration, not its definition.
- Introduced: two Episode postures—catch-up embodiment of accepted material and live Stageplay that opens governed roleplayed moves to advance the branch.
- Sequenced without becoming strictly linear: maintain the Domain → cultivate branching stories through direct Scenario and Episodes → optionally deploy a World from a mature preserved coordinate.
- Promoted to world physics: graph topology as the structure for location, access, context, and information propagation—not only a visualization.
- Promoted to the action boundary: MCP as the concrete channel through which human and agent Will enters a world.
- Recast: Scenario remains a first-class configurable game, now understood primarily as how the raw world is built, explored, and played at a branch's frontier.
- Recast: Position remains a powerful form of situated commitment, but not every playable character, location, or artifact must act through a Position.
- Recast: practice and evaluation become uses of the wider world engine, not its enclosing identity.
- Survives as the substrate: extraction, System/World/Fate, Threads, Streams, Positions, Reasoning Graphs, Research, Merge, the Program, branches, Stories, and the canonical record.
- Remains retired: markets as proof of universal understanding, portfolio identity, and claims that a world predicts or governs its source reality.
- Returns only as bounded direction: economies, leagues, speculation, and real-value stakes may exist inside or above particular Worlds under explicit rules and governance; they are not the universal verification mechanism.
Working lines
- The identity: Drive the story. Inhabit the decision. Live in what remains.
- The system: Domain defines. Branch preserves. Scenario resolves. Episode embodies. World inherits and lives.
- The trajectory: Commit the scene or open the move. Let Stageplay make consequence felt.
- The forces: System constrains. World embodies. Fate remains open. Will makes the move.
- The mechanism: Programmable rules. Situated information. Plural Will. Kept history.
- The World promise: Stories build places worth returning to.
The former practice-only brand line is retired. Play the Possible names Scenario without reducing the whole product. A replacement master tagline is deliberately unresolved.
