# Private Domain / Public Domain.

The information boundary of a Domain, inferred from its purpose and
boundary rather than inherited from an interest card. A **Private Domain** depends on knowledge held by a
person or team—lived context, work, decisions, routines, constraints, or supplied records—and is prepared
through a paced AI interview. A **Public Domain** depends on knowledge in the wider world and is prepared
through current, cited web Research. Private does not mean “single person,” and Public does not
automatically mean published; these terms choose preparation, maintenance, and permission posture. Both
use the same System/World/Fate model and Program. Public Domains stay current through Research cycles;
Private Domains solicit new authored context through scheduled Reminders and Notes.
