# Position cycle

The explicit, user-authored clock for creating comparable dated Position samples.
It owns a forward question/direction, a sample horizon, and an eligibility cadence. A Domain has no Position
generation clock until its Director creates this cycle. Each eligible run builds a fresh Graph and priced
Reading, proposes one Position, then waits while that proposal awaits judgment or its established
Position remains live. The Position's own monitor cadence is separate and remains visible in Schedule;
after the sample closes, a later Position-cycle window may produce the next sample.
