# Intervention window

The period between a proposal-producing run and the next eligible action run.
A human may accept, edit, supersede, or cancel the staged **Directive** during this window; after the
action run reserves it, later edits belong to the following run. This is how guided and autonomous
operation share one inspectable contract: the machine can prepare and later apply work without
pretending a complex model change happened at tap time.
