Note Merge

Folding a subset of the Notes queue into the model. The operator/agent selects notes, picks how to combine them — Concatenate (verbatim under headings, no LLM; the default for a single note) or Synthesise (an LLM weaves them into one document; the default for many) — and a destination: Extend domain (stage the merged chunk as a source: 'daily-log' SourceFile that runs the convert → reconcile → Apply pipeline) or Generate arc (hand the chunk to generation as the next arc's direction). Merged notes lock and move to Historical (auditable via each note's mergedInto refs), leaving the queue the moment the process starts. Distinct from the belief-layer Merge (committed Streams folded into continuity, above): a Note Merge combines raw ingest, a Merge commits scored stances. Driven from the desktop Merge modal or headless via the merge-notes operation (feed the queue with generate-note; read it with read-notes).
