The durable, content-addressed source-material artifact (captured Firecrawl markdown + title/url/excerpt/hashes), the shared evidence repo at domain.articles. It is a general system artifact, not Program-only: both research cycles (feeding Streams) and Monitor (feeding Position Signals) upsert Articles, and a StreamPrior/Signal links back to the exact Article version by articleId. Three consumption depths over one capture: Story (implication + a short attributed quote) → source card (excerpt in context + why it mattered) → further reading (the complete captured markdown, as fetched). The Base Articles tab is the repo browser. Articles are System-family provenance; Positions are Fate — the two attach to each other but sit in different families of the knowledge hierarchy.
