# Reminder.

A scheduled Private-Domain Program trigger that asks one authored check-in question. A
delivery is a **soft prompt**: it advances the Reminder and emits a Reminder **Story** that nudges the
user to log. It does **not** author a Note. The Story carries the prompt inline — the user types or
dictates their answer right there (or on the Notes surface, which the Story drills into with a fresh,
prompt-seeded compose) and that saves as a **Note**. Only the user's authored answer is knowledge; an
ignored prompt leaves no trace. A Reminders group switch (Operations → Reminders) pauses all of a
domain's reminders at once, distinct from disabling one reminder.
