The durable, content-addressed **source-material artifact** (captured Firecrawl markdown +
title/url/excerpt/hashes), the shared **evidence repo** at `domain.articles`. It is a **general system
artifact, not Program-only**: both research cycles (feeding Streams) and Monitor (feeding Position
Signals) upsert Articles, and a `StreamPrior`/`Signal` links back to the exact Article version by
`articleId`. Three consumption depths over one capture: **Story** (implication + a short attributed
quote) → **source card** (excerpt in context + why it mattered) → **further reading** (the complete
captured markdown, as fetched). The Base **Articles** tab is the repo browser. *Articles are System-family
provenance; Positions are Fate — the two attach to each other but sit in different families of the
knowledge hierarchy.*
